We start with conservative care and recommend surgery only when it is the right answer for you.

Expert Foot & Ankle Surgeon
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Gathani returned home after completing four years of rigorous surgical and reconstructive rearfoot residency training. He now brings advanced foot and ankle care to the community where he grew up.
His training ranges from rural and community podiatric care to complex wound management, limb salvage and trauma, so patients are cared for by one surgeon who can manage every aspect of their treatment.
You see Dr. Gathani at every visit, with no hand-offs and no need to repeat your story.
We begin with conservative treatment. When surgery is needed, we use minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.
Patients with diabetes, vascular disease or chronic wounds receive the specialized attention they need to stay on their feet.
